Central America
Central America
Central America takes place between North America and South America. It takes on the role of bridge between two places. There are seven countries which are Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. It must be the fortune when a place stands in between two or more continents to have environmental and political challenges.
Central America is a bridge. Beside seven countries it has many small offshore islands. When you consider Central America as a whole it is fertile and rugged land. Also you can see volcanic mountain ranges some of them are active and very dangerous volcanoes. Central America’s highest point is in Guatemala it calls Vulcan Tajumulco 13,816 ft or 4,211 m.
It is hard to see that much volcanoes any other place in the world because there are twenty nine volcanoes and some of them are active others are potentially active. They all take place under Central America along the South West cost.
The names of volcanoes in Central America are Santa Maria, Almolonga, Atitlan, Toliman, Acatenango, Fuego, Aqua, Pacaya, Izalco, Santa Ana, San Salvador, San Vincente, San Miguel, San Crietobal, Casita Telica, Cerro Negro, Las Pilas, Momotombo, Masaya, Mombacho, Concepcion, Rincon Vieja, Miravalles, Arenal, Poas, Turrialba, Irazu and Baru.
