The Tropical Dream

The Caribbean is located in South of the Gulf Of Mexico and North America. The region consists of the Caribbean Sea, its silands and the surrounding coasts.

The region is made up of over 7,000 islands, islets and reefs. The islands are called the West Indies because when Christopher Columbus landed there in 1942, he though he had reached the India in Aisa.

The domination countries of the Caribbean are Aruba, Barbadosi Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Saint Croix, The Bahamas or Antigua. Also the islands of Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Dominica, Montserrat, Saba, Saint Kitts, Saint Lucia, Saint Thomas, Saint John, Tortola, Grenada, Saint Vincent, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Trinidad & Tobago.

The climate of the region is tropical, mainly warm and moist with a year-round sunshine. Visitors also enjoy the vast amounts of coral reefs in surrounding waters.

All islands were and some still are colonies of Europe. The colonists were the British, the Danish, the Dutch, the French, the Portuguese, the Spanish and the Swedish.

Being a popular tourist destinaiton, the Caribbean has alot to offer; almost everyone dreams of having a holiday in a tropical island and this dream comes true with a visit to the Caribbean. There is so much to see and enjoy in the Caribean Islands.
